Forest Meadows

Forest Meadows Subdivision is a residential golfing community located in the Sierra foothills, approximately four miles above Murphys, CA. The subdivision was designed and developed by The Calaveras Land Company in 1972. The original subdivision was created on 197 acres, including 260 single family dwellings, three multi-cluster developments, eight commercial lands, 14 recreation and utility lots. In mid 1973, the Forest Meadows Company proposed building a dam across Angels Creek to create a small reservoir within the golf course for irrigation and recreational purposes. The crest of the dam was to serve as a roadway for access across the canyon. 209-728-2511
